Managed Hosting

Your website is only as reliable as the platform underneath it. We host every site we build on WP Engine — and we will tell you exactly why.

Cheap hosting is cheap for a reason. Shared servers packed with hundreds of unrelated sites, no caching worth the name, security handled by whatever plugin you happened to install, and a support desk that has never opened WordPress. It works right up until the moment it does not — usually during a traffic spike, a plugin conflict, or a Monday morning.

WolfPaw Digital builds on WP Engine and manages the whole environment for you: setup, migration, updates, monitoring, backups, and the troubleshooting when something needs a human. You get enterprise-grade infrastructure without needing to become a systems administrator.

FAQ's

01

Is WP Engine more expensive than shared hosting?

Yes, and that is the point. Shared hosting is priced for sites where downtime does not matter. Once you factor in the plugins you would otherwise buy for caching, security, and backups — plus the cost of an hour of downtime during business hours — the gap narrows considerably.

02

Do I buy hosting from you or from WP Engine?

Either works. We can host your site under our account and bill you as part of a maintenance plan, or set it up under your own WP Engine account so you retain full ownership. We will walk you through the trade-offs.

03

Will migrating my site cause downtime?

No. We build the site on WP Engine, test it fully on a temporary domain, then switch DNS. Visitors see the old site until the moment they see the new one.

04

What if I want to leave later?

It is your site and your content. We hand over a full export and the credentials, with no lock-in and no exit fee.

05

Does WP Engine work with WooCommerce?

Yes. WP Engine offers an e-commerce performance add-on built specifically for WooCommerce stores, with optimizations for cart and checkout performance that standard hosting does not provide.

06

Do you offer maintenance without hosting?

We do — monthly WordPress maintenance plans are available for sites hosted elsewhere. That said, the results are better when we control the environment.
