The Challenge
Corporate tax incentives vary state by state, and our client’s past map integration was an outdated custom-built program. The custom program made it difficult for them to make changes easily and in real time as benefits changed. The program could eventually fail, as its programming code did not support further updates to new PHP versions. They needed a solution that allowed backend users to make easy changes, duplications, and modifications to said maps. We decided to select a popular map WordPress plugin based on project scale and a reliable programming update schedule.

The maps have several featured options for users to easily select states based on what style they employ to conduct individual searches. The maps now include a search filter and a state directory filtered alphabetically.
The Impact
Complex tax law, simplified. The maps not only make information easily accessible for online users, but also make it easy for the client to create and maintain additional maps and information changes. The client can now free up valuable time invested in creating and making changes to the maps.
